Case Study: BUILDING SERVICES | LEE COMPANY Lee Company has thrived as a robust economy drives demand for its building maintenance and construction services. Thanks to its excellent workforce and customer service, the Franklin, Tenn., company has posted double- digit revenue growth during the past five years. Founded in 1944, the $225 million company has expanded its workforce over the past three years by more than 50 percent, from 800 to 1,200 employees, the majority of them field personnel. That rapid growth, however, outstripped Lee Company's employee onboarding process. "Recently we've been hiring 60 or 70 people a month, but like every company in construction services, we must manage higher employee turnover than most other industries," says Chris Reaves, Lee Company's IT manager.
