Leading human rights group gains a 360-degree view of data to expand donor engagement for peer-to-peer programs, reducing churn and improving the donation experience
As the largest international anti-slavery NGO in the world, International Justice Mission depends on donors (called “Freedom Partners”) to raise money in support of its global efforts. Its primary fundraising vehicle has been direct fundraising where Freedom Partners can donate by signing up for a monthly subscription service on IJM’s website.
To scale its efforts and raise funds from more donors, IJM wanted to both mature its existing platform and expand fundraising sources to include peer-to-peer giving. But to effectively manage all donor data coming in from multiple sources, the organization needed a 360-degree view of all its donation transactions.
Boomi helped IJM build an automated revenue infrastructure that integrates all direct donations from its website into Salesforce, helping make it a much more up-to-date and accurate system of record. Now, IJM delivers a fully branded donation experience via its website and other sources, including peer-to-peer giving.
Additionally, IJM has achieved:
- A 360-degree view of donors, leveraging Salesforce as its global system of record
- An improved donor experience with self-service access to manage their subscriptions
- Readiness for global expansion as its 25 overseas offices can be aligned to one canonical data model and leverage the existing build
- Improved workforce productivity
"With Boomi we can confidently say that we have about 80% of the revenue infrastructure in place to scale beyond 100,000 donors per year, which will help us achieve our mission of ending slavery in this lifetime."
