Green Rabbit has achieved its business goals thanks to an agile, scalable cloud IT foundation powered by NetSuite and Boomi, strategic partners since 2008 with more than 1,600 joint customers.
In 2012 Candy.com — which in 2018 created Green Rabbit as a parent company — upgraded from entry-level systems to NetSuite for cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) and order management.
While sales soared, the company was slowed by manual order entry. Using third-party electronic data interchange (EDI) services proved costly and complex. So Candy.com looked for an in-house EDI platform. Boomi B2B/EDI Management hit the sweet spot. Boomi met Candy.com’s needs for native NetSuite connectivity, as well as efficiency, visibility, and scale.
That same NetSuite-Boomi infrastructure also supports the Green Rabbit venture, including the company’s proprietary technology for handling heat-sensitive perishables in compliance with food safety standards. Parallel-processing enhancements in both NetSuite and Boomi have helped Green Rabbit scale to higher order volumes, too.
With help from Boomi and NetSuite, Green Rabbit has:
- Recently grown revenue by 50% to 70% a year
- Eliminated 250 hours a month in manual order processing of trading-partner transactions
- Cut 160 hours a month of manual reconciliation of supplier Excel invoices
- Reduced order-creation time from 45 seconds to under two seconds
